Tour itinerary

1. Day: Arrival Sofia – Plovdiv

Flight to Sofia. Bus and guide are already waiting at the airport and we continue to our hotel in Plovdiv. In the evening we are welcomed by a traditional dinner with music in a restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.

2. Day: Plovdiv – Winery Todoroff – Plovdiv

Full day sightseeing of Plovdiv. The city is one of the largest and most beautiful cities in Thracian Area. Especially worth seeing are the typical Plovdiv patrician houses, which were built during the national revival in the middle of the 19th century and are decorated with paintings and carvings. Then drive to a winery for wine tasting followed by dinner. Overnight in the hotel.

3. Day: Plovdiv – Rhodopenbahn – Rila – Plovdiv

In the morning we experience a unique train ride on the narrow-gauge railway in the Rhodope Mountains. At the end of the way our bus is waiting again, and we continue to the UNESCO protected Rila Monastery. After the sightseeing by bus back to the hotel in Plovdiv. Overnight in the hotel.

4. Day: Plovdiv – Karlovo – Plovdiv

In the morning drive from Plovdiv to Karlovo, where the Rose Festival is held every year. Stay in the city, visit of a rose oil factory. Farewell traditional dinner with music in Plovdiv. Overnight in the hotel.

5. Day: Plovdiv – Sofia – Flughafen

After breakfast drive to Sofia where we start with the city tour. We see highlights like the Aleksandar Nevski Cathedral, the government quarter and much more, afterwards transfer to Sofia airport. Departure.
